Tom Rigney & Flambeau Concert / Fountain Park / 7 PM

We conclude our summer by "cooking" up a big old pot of gumbo on the Louisiana bayou with the sounds of Flambeau.  Tom Rigney, the fiery, electrifying violinist/composer has joined forces with some of the finest musicians on the San Francisco roots music scene to form this band that generates enough heat and energy to ignite a dance floor and lift an audience to its feet.  Specializing in blazing Cajun and zydeco two-steps, low-down blues, funky New Orleans grooves and spectacular solos, it will be a fitting close to another "hot" summer of music in Fountain Park.  This free concert is sponsored by the Van Wert County Foundation.  Fountain Park provides a beautiful setting for outside summer concerts, surrounded by trees, park benches, and of course, a fountain.  For more information contact the Van Wert Area Convention and Visitors Bureau at 419-238-9378.
