Ben Carroll in Concert / Perks Cafe / 9 PM

The thing that stands out about Ben Carroll's music is his songwriting. He writes crisp, descriptive lyrics that flow and blend wonderfully with the music. He has never been one to be hung up with genres, he moves fluidly from folk to soul to blues to pop.  Ben Carroll is a cross between John Legend and John Mayer. His shows include acapella numbers, folk tunes, blues ballads, and jazz pop suites. Like Legend and Mayer, Carroll's vocals caress the lyrics and massage the notes as he plays the acoustic guitar and creating a rhythm in the melodies that give them a funky beat. All the shows at Perks Cafe are donations only events.  If you enjoyed the show please donate to the artist.  Coffee and soft drinks can be purchased at the event or you can bring your own refreshments.  For more information visit www.visionarypromotions.org
