It’s In the Cards / Wassenberg Art Center / 1 – 5 PM                                                                     A few decades ago artists began creating miniature works of art to trade with one another.  These 2 x 3 inch cards are original works of art that allow collectors to have an entire art gallery in a three-ring binder.  When it comes to subject, technique, and materials -- anything goes!  For more information call the Wassenberg Art Center at 419-238-6837 or visit their web site at www.vanwert.com/wassenberg  Free Admission .

Nunset Boulevard / Van Wert Civic Theatre / 8 PM

The Little Sister of Hoboken are back and have been invited to sing at the Hollywood Bowl.  They are thrilled until they arrive and realize that they are booked into the Hollywood Bowl-A-Rama -- a bowling alley with a cabaret lounge -- and not the famed Bowl they are planning on.  Midway through their show they get wind that a famed movie producer is holding auditions for his new movie musical.  They race off to audition during intermission.  As the auditions proceed, they bring back updates as to what is happening.  In the end, they realize their true "calling."  For more information and tickets visit www.vwct.org or call 419-238-9689.
